Her main medium is oil on canvas.
However she also works with sculptures, live performances and the written word.

Solveig has been a working Artist and Oil Painter since 2008.

With her Bachelor Degree from the Art Department at Bemidji State University in Minnesota, and with a life full of travel and living in abroad, her art has matured greatly.

Her most valuable adventure as an artist is that of the exploration of the subconscious. Through meditation, hypnosis and inner travels. The information and visual education derived therefrom is what pushed her to try things well outside of her otherwise figurative journey.

Alongside her creative life, She teaches art to children and adults alike. She received her Masters Degree in Teaching in 2022. Her belief is that by giving away what she herself has learned, she will be able to expand her own curiosity while hopefully igniting it in others.

[Solveigs’ ] Art derives from the subconscious.  From history, and it appears in color-blazing abstract paintings and figurative story telling.
